Need some serious caffeine!!!

Today was one of those crazy whirlwind days. I had to drive to timbucktoo (actually I think it was Mesquite) to get Rose her 10,000th pair of pointe shoes, drop a catalog off in Parker then head home praying that UPS dropped a package off that I needed desperately last week! I was pretty tired already and after having a stressful afternoon driving around, the kids were asking me 50 million questions and I had to hurry up and get to the post office by 4:15 to overnight some catalogs! Whew I made it in time, got my last errands done then had to get home help with homework and drive Rose to rehearsal by 5:45. I was about to fall asleep driving so I decided to stop at Target and get a Starbucks drink with serious amounts of caffiene in it. I tell you what, when I got out of my car and headed into Target I felt like I had lead in my feet and I just wanted to take a quick nap on the asphalt. Have you ever felt like that? It was freaky, so needless to say I walked as quickly as I could over to the Starbucks and asked the girl for a good pick me up, oh yeah got a triple shot of espresso with half-n-half and two packets of Splenda!!!!! I am good to go! Sometimes you just have to have some serious caffeine to make it through the next few hours of the day!!!

Please....answer your phone!!!

Ok, so why do we all have cell phones? I was at a jewelry show tonight and it was one of those crazy nights when Rose had to be picked up at 6:45, Darrin and Ross were at Football practice until 7:30 and Sarah had to be picked up from gymnastics at 8pm. I told the girls that Darrin would be late getting them, but just know he is not going to leave you stranded. Rose, bless her heart had to wait an hour for him and Sarah had to wait about 15 mins. or so. In the mean time Rose call's my phone, while I am in the middle of the jewelry show, she leaves no message, no text, nothing! So I, being the paranoid mother, try to call her back immediately......no answer. So I text....no text back! Then I call Darrin about 10 times.......NO ANSWER!!! Why do we have cell phones?!?! When you really need them to answer the phone, they don't! Thankfully everyone was fine, I got home and asked what's the deal no one answers their phone, the phone's are dead!!! (And I have the only blackberry charger in my car....ooops!) Ok, so the funny thing is that not only did they not call me back, but I see that they are eating very OLD left overs!!! If they would have called I could have told them what to eat! Yikes, 1 week old pasta and sauce :(! If anyone wakes up with a belly ache, Darrin is cleaning the mess!

Yippee! I am now a blogger!

Wow, I am now one of the bloggers in this world thanks to my awesome friend Valinda! She rocks with all the cool things you can do with blogging and digital scapbooking, something I can not do with out lots of help. So thank you, thank you Valinda. I hope this will prove to be a great way to keep in touch with old and new friends, of course I have to figure out how to do that myself also!
So now what do I do? Ramble about my day, my life, what? I think I am going to have to read some of my friends blogs to see what really should be mentioned on the blog site.
